The 2009 edition of BioPartnering took place in Vancouver from February 8th to 10th. Approximately 550 biotech companies and 1000 people attended the event.
As customary, the Italian Trade Commission, in collaboration with the Canadian Embassy, in Italy organized a delegation of 10 leading Italian biotech companies. The Italian delegation included:
In support of the Italian contingent at BioPartnering 2009, the Italian Trade Commission distributed a brochure with the participating companies' profiles, whose names and web addresses were also posted on the event's official web site.
Throughout the event Open Booth Presentations were held at the Italian Trade Commission stand.
On February 9th, a seminar on the Italian biotechnology sector took place. Amongst the keynote speakers, the Italian Consul General in Vancouver, the Italian Trade Commissioner of Toronto and Promos. A gala reception was held on February 10th to celebrate the end of BioPartnering.
